Purchase a tote bag featuring the painting "Captive Brain" by Gerald Carpenter.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Gerald Carpenter

Jerry Carpenter, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, educated at Berea College in Kentucky and Catholic University of America, moved from Washington, DC, to California in 2000. Working as an Information Technology professional is a stressful job; thus, in an effort to find peace I began painting watercolors under the tutelage of Ms. Bobbie Dixon as part of the Santa Clara Adult Education Program after moving to California. Since then, I have studied with other prominent artists. I began drawing and painting as a child, especially architecture. The medium of choice was Acrylics during his high school and college years. A developing career path caused him to long abandon the art. In recent years, the change to watercolor was a freeing...
